Mid-Day Meal (MDM) | District-wise Expenditure

MDM scheme is a flagship programme of the Government of India that aims to enhance enrolment, retention and attendance, and simultaneously improve nutritional levels among children up to class VIII in schools. It is served on all working days in schools. Provisions have been made to provide MDM to school children during summer vacations in drought affected areas. This scheme is being implemented across the country.
