Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G) | District-wise Expenditure

PMAY-G is a flagship programme of the Government of India. It is the largest public housing programme in the country with a mission to alleviate poverty. Its objective is to provide 'Housing for All' by the year 2022. Under the scheme, the minimum size of the house is 25 with a hygienic cooking space. The scheme provides financial assistance for constructing pucca houses for the rural poor. Beneficiaries are selected using housing deprivation parameters as per the Socio-Economic and Caste Census (SECC) of 2011, which is to be verified by the Gram Sabhas.
